Lucas Matthysse vs Lamont Peterson Who Wins?

Imagine a Danny Garcia vs Pederson fight, it would feel weird as i would like both of them to lose by brutal ko.

Just so you clowns know, Victor Ortiz has more power in his shots than does Lucas. And that power didn't stop Lamont. No clue how you have Lucas, a fighter who looked very average when stepping up his competition a la Judah/Alexander, stopping Lamont. Is silly

 

Lucas looks like he might be another level above Peterson.

 

Lamont could work with Heredia, Conte, and have titanium plates reinforcing his skull and fists for this fight, and Lucas would still knock him out.

 

Ortiz is definitively more powerful than Lucas. He just can't box for **** and has zero mental toughness, which Lucas has in abundance.

Ortiz def. more powerful.

If Peterson attacks the body early and avoids getting hurt with any sneaky shots, he wins by decision. Matthysse wouldn't like Lamont's body attack at all, I think it would take a lot of steam off his shots.

 

Is this Peterson's back yard? When is Lucas going to learn he will get jobbed in another guy's hometown?

Peterson is a cheating disgrace and he doesn't deserve to be back in the spotlight at all. If this goes through, I've got Peterson via another robbery and GBP has successfully taken the threat that is Matthysse of off their preferred stable of Garcia and Khan.

Interesting fight

Lucas is a log physically and mentally tougher than Holt, but isn't as fast or sharp with his punches

Peterson is the exact kind of fighter that give Lucas problems

 

I would slightly favor Matthysse. Peterson showed a really good high guard last night, and seems to take body shots well. I am not sure he has the power though to keep Matthysse off of him.
