I wish I was a fly on the wall in the Fury household  Price crumpled like a sheet of paper and looked really hurt from that half hearted shot :patsch back to square one, maybe now he'll **** Maloney off.

Maybe, but doubt it. He may have just lost a potentially huge fight

Apologies if I ruined the result. There was very little to see.

But then, what would anybody who didn't want to know the result be doing on a boxing forum at the time of the fight ?

I'm still shocked. It was a nothing punch too...

I like Price, he's a fun fighter and seems like a great guy but if you can't take a punch in the heavyweight division you're going nowhere.

Guess the British heavyweight hopes are now on Fury.

It was the side of the neck which Ive been told ****s you up often worse than on the chin. Not the end of David Price by any means but a massive reality check.

Fury's reaction should be interesting to say the least now though.

I'm a big fan of Price though, so I'd love to see him improve. I'm just disappointed in the result, but I believe in his ability. He needs to make some changes and then he will start racking up more wins.

Fury has probably just laughed like a ****ing Hyena on happy gas. For ages he's told us that Price had a ****ing glass chin and would get sparked out eventually, so many of us didn't believe him (me included).

I'd really hope David can come back from this, I hope it with all my heart because he's such a great fella. But **** me, it's hard to imagine that's possible after that. That could very likely be a career killer. It doesn't matter how hard he can punch, if he has no chin he won't get anywhere.

This is a very cruel sport sometimes.

One positive thing to take from this result is that the potential Price-Chisora fight just got a lot more interesting.

Wow, that was some shock! But I suppose it happens in Heavyweight boxing and good on Thompson for coming in and doing his job. Everything had been going so well for Price so maybe in hindsight it was just too much of a step up, too soon.

His punch resistance will always leave a major asterisk next to his name now but I'm sure he'll come back and force his way into World title contention at some point. I really hope he does too because he's a model professional and comes across as a classy guy.

Yep. That's a really intriguing fight for Price's titles if it happens
