There're just no excuses to go down like shot from this punch. It didn't have any real power and I'm sure I'd have taken it.
Well, there always is a question mark about your chin when you get knocked out in the amateurs and there're well known stories about you being badly hurt in sparring. I like Price and I hope he comes out of this stronger.

TBH the comprasions with Lennox Lewis and Wlad aren't right IMO. Price hasn't beaten anyone near the level the guys Lewis beat onroute to the loss to McCall same with Wlad and Sanders.

I think Price was already having issues with Thompson's movement and awkwardness. I think Price has been badly mismanaged and got into this Wlad clone bollocks.

Price is a good fighter, Nice lad by way he behaves and feel for him but i don't think he's going to become a dominant force at world level like many on here believe.

From day one Hennessey has matched Fury well. Took him abroad a few times as well

The southpaw stance clearly didn't allow him to plant his feet and get his usual leverage into his punches. The basics tell you the jab is your stock weapon to establish distance and keep your opponent occupied but he was too rigid to throw any jabs. And that was clearly down to being scared of getting hit. No boxer likes or wants to get hit. But a fighter who is clearly terrified of getting hit when he gets into the ring against anyone half decent ain't going far.

Lennox in particular was put down by legitimately big punches, the punch that put big Pricey down has me worried.

Serious queastion, if Harrison wins the PF final would/could that set up a Price re-match keeping in mind the brutal KO from the first.

Getting stopped in that fashion, against an old, slow Thompson who looked like he had no snap in his punches pretty much spells Price's chances out. Very few.

He could maybe get up to Euro level, but even a guy like Arreola would catch him eventually.

price isn't going to go further if he can't beat a 41 year old. sorry, but tony thompson is no world beater and price shouldn't be getting knocked out by the likes of him.
