Is David Price the new Wladimir Klitschko?

As we all know, Wladimir Klitschko has been smacked around more than a red headed step child and been up and down more than a second hand yo-yo, suffering embarrassing KO losses to worse fighters than Tony Thompson.

So, with that in mind, if Price does what Wlad did and avoids immediate rematches with the guy who beat him and focuses on developing and style based on grabbing and holding to avoiding being hit, can he come back and boss the division like Wlad?

Thompson is BETTER THAN PURRITY
is BETTER than Parnell
is BETTER than Brewster
is BETTER than Sanders
is BETTER than Peters
is BETTER than Williamson

and they all either sonned or KDED Wlad.


I think he can come back... but have to avoid an immediate rematch.

Possible but unlikely. Wlad did it against the odds, just because he did it doesn't mean Price will too. His chin (and importantly his recovery) looks poor. But its not impossible.

Don't forget though Wlad had Steward in his corner which was huge for him.

 

Thompson's knockout of Price shows how good Vladimir really is. Vitali and Vlad are the best in the world. Vitali has the highest knockout percentage of any heavyweight champion in boxing history. I have see Vlad take some huge punches in his early career. Nothing wrong with Vlad's chin..........Lewis was knockout out cold by Rahman and TKO'd by McCall. Joe Louis was knocked out, Tyson, Larry Holmes, you name it. Did they have bad chins?
