Sprott would be a decent fight. Chisora would be too risky coming off a loss. I doubt Towers wants to fight him even after tonight.

He should renew his gas-fitters licence.

He could easily beat Thompson in the rematch, he was clearly superior in the fight.

Just depends whether he gets caught again.

Stay around making a bit of cash at British level - If the opportunity to go further arises and it's worth the money, take the risk, but otherwise make a long Lonsdale tenure the primary ambition. He's going to be a massive, massive underdog against any top 20 world-ranked contenders, so be realistic and honest about the new goal.

Have to disagree there Joe. From the TV Price was pressing the fight but not exactly dominating and wasn't in control of his range as normal and Thompson was doing a nice enough job of keeping Price off him.

He throw out a few feelers earlier in the round as well. The other thing was when Price landed it made no affect on Thompson he seemed very calm in there.

He needs to learn in the gym, protect his chin a bit more and maybe add a bit of muscle. He'll be back though. Every positive about Price is still there, it's just that we saw a weakness in him. As long as he learns and improves, he'll be fine.

Obviously its different when you're there but Pricey clearly won the first for me and looked like he was on his way to winning the second. He was backing Thompson into corners at times and looked decent. Obviously hard to work out when its only been 5 minutes or so of fighting.

Stoppage was awful though, after watching it again once I got back I'm struggling to see how the punch hurt him that badly. It is a long road to the top now and unfortunately I don't think he'll get there. The momentum behind him in Liverpool will completely go after tonight as well.

There were signs in the Skelton fight. He was tagged far to easily by the strait right, he backs up in strait lines whenever pressed. He drops his left hand ridiculously low at time to...

I didn't see anyone predicting Thompson would beat him but most on here with half a clue have been questioning his chin, and the way Maloney had been feeding him bums.

    All comes from poor schooling.
