    That's some broad brush you paint with there. Narrow it down somewhat intelligently and then get back to me. Your argument isn't worth the time, constructed as it is.

    I am not arguing with anyone. I made a statement.


    As someone who has paid taxes for 50 years and pays 42 per cent income tax to the federal and state governments every year, I have a judgement on the attitude of the IRS and I'm not open to changing it.

    I'm aware of what Ross did, I've read his autobiography and seen the film of it.
    This is not a thread about Boxers ,or other athletes serving in action during war time ,or we might mention Lew Jenkins who was decorated for his courage in Korea.The question was, how many other sports figures donated their purses to the war effort?
