He has a heavy padded record which is a recipe for disaster once you do step it up, hence the beating he got in Japan. He was also pretty adverage, loosing to a guy whos record was

The calibre of opposition he fought here in Australia didn't set him up for any international success. He seemed to follow the same recipe for coming up short when it's time to step up that Australian boxers have been following for the last 20 years. Although he did have a go and won a few belts so good on him, it does highlight though how financial backing can only get you so far and at some point you have to have the pugilistic ability to win bigger fights.

Pretty sure his old man was the president of the NSW amateurs when Adam was fighting as an amateur.

Not sure about his old mans involvment in boxing. It doesnt just come down to money in AUS, its all about who you know, not what you know. collusion with boxing officails in alot of these missmatches is rampant and blatant to say the least, some of the people involved should be hung out to dry because had they not been so complacant you can bet your left nut that alot of whats occured in AUS in ref to record padding would not have occur'd.

For example, in Vellas 12th pro bout he was fighting for vacant International Boxing Organization Asia Pacific middleweight title sanction by Phil Austin against a bum who come off a string of losses and whom's record was 2 wins-10 losses -2 draws. Its criminal what these fcks get away with.

Exactly, it showed with guys like the Hussy brotheres when they actually stepped up and getting hit back they didn't seem to know what to do, especially Nedal froze like a dear in the head lights
