i have a bias for Peralta and he won a few for me based on rocking Algieri after being out landed

He is at a disadvantage due to the workrate, I can guarantee he needs a KO to beat Algieri and he hasnt hurt him in 2 rounds

Algieri vs. Peralta seems like a decent scrap based on these last couple of rounds I've caught after switching over from Showtime.

Peralta behind, Algieri fought the 12th like he needed it more and had his hands busy like he has all night

I would bet that its 7-3 Algieri

Man...Peralta was game tonight, but the sheer volume of Algieri's combos just wore him down.

    Great scrap.

Round 6 or 7 had over 200 combined shots

Algieri was throwing over 100 punches every round and maintained a 30 to 40 percent land stat

Peralta who was not able to match the work rate would strike gold with his left hook to take a few rounds but he really took his foot off the gas

Algieri certainly closed strong, throwing 135 punches in the last round.

I was kinda "watching" both, and it did look to be a good scrap goin' down in there

Eh, no regrets. I'm personal friends (online) with Ishe Smith and therefore gratified to be able to watch him finally obtain a world championship live...even in ugly and somewhat close fashion against the weakest paper titlist out there.

I've got Algieri vs. Peralta recorded on DVR for later viewing. :good
