Fair goes , Riggers was right and I was partially wrong . Has price vacated the commonwealth title yet ?something tells me if he ain't he will be keeping hold of it now .

Its been obvious since his amateur days that Price cannot hold a shot. This was always going to happen, he is flawed.

To my eyes it looked like just behind/on the ear. There was not much body behind it but still........

I thought Tony Thompson fought real well against Wlad the first time, so thought he was a realistic chance against Price.

So it was a great win for him but certainly upsets the applecart.

 , yea I should have conceded at that point .

Ps just watched the fight and don't know what to say really apart from Price has all the attributes to become the new Amir Khan .

Yet another example of a fighter with a safe/padded record stepping up and being humiliated, and there are fighters out there with softer records than Price's just waiting for the same thing to happen to them aren't there?

Yep another 16 careful fights for David is probably the order of the day , If he had the goods after 16 pro fights he wouldn't be throwing right uppercuts without bringing his left up to protect his chin , Fury is another being touted as a world beater but is in danger of suffering a similar fate v Cunningham .

I see it slightly differently. Those 15 predominantly safe fights have allowed David Price to get away with lazy habits like throwing a low percentage right uppercut with your left arm by your side.

A perfect example of how fighters compiling overly safe records get away with bad habits in the process, and then when they finally step up it all turns to ****.

The difference in experience was pretty clear in this. The composure TT showed when backed into in the ropes/corner etc was impressive to see. To get stumbled that bad with a pretty soft shot I suppose could be seen as unlucky. If he wore that cleanly on the jaw it would have kept going IMO.

Best thing for price no would be to get back in there with the tiger . At the end of the day it's heavyweight boxing and from time to time the underdog wins , tpac makes a decent point though when price was trying to open the tin of whoop arse on tony he didn't seem troubled like so many before and inly experience can give a fighter that confidence

Yeah he probably could have kept going until he made another lazy, bad habit mistake and got nailed again.
