You need a larger sample size. I'm talking in recent years, say the last five or so. It does seem as if British chins are getting shattered at higher rates pre capita over this time.

Now, I do have a theory about this that is not related to rain or diet or what have you. It has to do with the depth of the talent pool. It's my sense - and you can correct me if I am wrong - that boxing has become more popular in Britain over the last decade or so. At the very least, from this side of the pond, it seems more high profile than it was when I was growing up in the Ali era.

The more popular and lucrative a sport is, the deeper into your national talent pool one typically goes. The more kids try out for boxing, the more likely you are gonna get guys who have talent otherwise, but are packing shaky chins.
