I think this man is mentally ill. Not a joke i mean genuinely.

Talk about deluded, have you EVER heard of a more unshakably deluded individual than this man? He fits all the criteria for delusions bordering on psychosis. In spite of EVERY contrary event, explanation, piece of evidence or humiliation he suffers, all which count against his rationale or belief, each and EVERY time this man returns with a new excuse, a new explanation, a new perspective and a new way of maintaining this unshakable delusion that he can be a success in this sport. Despite EVERYTHING! :patsch

The losses he suffered to Williams/Sprott ect would have put most right thinking people into reality. He came back from it.

The David Haye fiasco would have sent most rational, right thinking reasonably sane, mentally competent, rational people into complete SECLUSION for the rest of our lives. This man came back AGAIN.
The David Price episode was beyond cruel, it had reached a point where it was no longer acceptable to laugh at this man such was the level pity most had for him. It was a case of.. 'Okay this man is unwell, he should not be allowed to put himself through this constant humiliation and physical and mental punishment, but at least now SURELY it is FINALLY over'.

:patsch But its not finally over is it. They shamefully let him into Prizefighter knowing that if he won, then it would all start over again....for what must be the umpteenth time we have been here. Audrey Harrison STILL believes he can win a world title. He is STILL adamant his 'journey is not over'. He STILL believes in himself and his ability to reach the top of the sport. :patsch:patsch:verysad:verysad

I mean all i can say about this is Jesus ****ing Christ bloody hell fire. This man is not for real. He is entrenched in his delusions. And he is a danger to himself and his poor long suffering family. He needs professional help and i sincerely believe he is mentally ill.

He is clearly one of the most deluded people ever to be a professional sports person.

He believes everything he says, which actually makes it all of the more worrying. Luckily for him though, he lacks a heart and a chin to actually do any real damage to himself in the ring.

That belief can win you an Olympic Gold Medal, the European Title and 2 prize fighters and a career in the sport we love.

That's because you fail to understand Audley Harrison.

    http://www.boxingforum24.com/showthread.php?t=461443

No matter what the critics say, he's not going to let them get in the way of his dream. Say what you like about the man. Harrison shows true warrior mentality to come back when getting knocked down again.

'"No matter how many times you get knocked back, don't you dare give up on your dreams goals and aspirations. Don't you dare."

And that my friends is the attitude you need to succeed in life. When you get knocked down, you get back up, and keep going. Harrison whether he wins a world title (unlikely) or not, is a success.

Do you not see the bigger picture yet?

I can't notice anything wrong with Audley. So no I don't think hes delusional, just confident.

Audley just got caught by massive bombs from Haye and Price.

Against Haye, he showed no heart, he showed what he is, a scared little rabbit hiding from a real fight. He went down and stayed down, rather than go out on his sword like a true warrior does in the biggest fight of his life. Shameful, but for all of his bull**** the man brings a smile to my face, because of his delusional musings punctuated by lopsided defeats.

He's confident as hell and I admire that.

It's obvious that he loves what he does and has a vision, like any boxer, to make to it the top and win a belt. Some will stop at nothing to get themselves into that position, no matter how many obstacles they face. Maybe it's an athlete thing, but the idea of 'giving up' is weak. It's not just a job but a passion, the sacrifice athletes makes will tell you that much.

I think Audley is a good boxer, but chokes and freezes up in his big fights. He can never be relaxed, be himself. He should see a sports psychologist, whatever that may be worth.

Frollocks! "True warriors" don't do that rabbit in the headlights, petrified gladiator BS when given an opportunity on the biggest stage. True warriors dare to win in the real world, and if they can't, they go down trying. Artificial, horse ****-peddling, con-artist's heroism is always projected towards some abstract, future never-never land that's never going to be touched by the rays of reality.
