....either Canelo, Trout or Pacquaio, how do you see this affecting his overall career?

im a Floyd fan but he needs to be tested at least once more
winner of Trout vs Canelo is the toughest fight for him that can be made

Won't affect him! Trout and Canelo are actually true middle weights. Pac losing to Marquez probably cause this to not happen. If Pac come back and beat Marquez by KO, then it could respark a want to see Pac vs Mayweather fight again!

ok let em get thsi str8..

1-first canelo was a hype job and floyd would be cherry picking if he faced him..now its mandatory??

2-Trout??really before the cotto fight no 1 even knew who the hell he was

3-Manny??this guy lost both of his fights in 2012 and hasnt looked good sine 2010...

Not facing Pacquiao won't hurt him. In fact at this point it might be a down grade. Even if he fought pacquiao in 09/10 in retrospect it would be nothing more than a huge easy payday. Pacquiao is basicaly Cotto with better publicty. He dose need to fight the Trout/Alvarez winner though.

Pac ducked him, nothing he can do about that

Canelo/Trout would be a great test. I'd love to see that.

AT least Canelo wants the fight, Pac is a bonified scrub/ducker/roider.

With Floyd people always focus on who he didnt fight and try to downgrade who he did fight

question at 154 who has canelo beat...at 154 who has trout beat

and when was the last time Manny looked great?

and what if he faces them? and then 3 years from now, there's another media built boogieman? Is he a fraud if he doesn't face him?

pac is done and won't prove anything.

canelo to me is still unproven and doesn't mean anything.

trout is the biggest threat of the 3 and could officially take floyd's 0 away.

I can see both sides of the argument, but I think he needs a Canelo or someone to boost the end portion of his career.

    thread fail for op

Even dodong, one of Floyd's biggest detractors, don't think these three are threats

canelo could be a threat, i just think he's unproven.

trout is def a threat, he was able to handle cotto better than floyd.

Fair enough. I myself think Trout is the second if not most challenging fight for Floyd
