David Haye was able to fight me on 10 September 2012 in Moscow. He was sent to all contracts, the Briton could only sign for them. David refused. The David Haye train has left" said Vitali.

I hope this fight does happen :?

So can we take from this that he plans to fight on?

Vitali has also said this about Haye before, that he was offered the fight in Moscow but Haye chose the Chisora contract as it offered him more money and that he was no longer thinking about Haye.

Maybe this article is just rehashing old news.

True, it'll look bad if he carries on and doesn't fight Haye...

How can it look bad when he has offered Haye the fight twice before?

So why tell him to fight Chisora?

He offered Haye the fight even prior to the Chisora brawl in Munich. Once Haye got a wiff of the cash he would earn fighting Chisora, he took that over the Vitali offer.

    No he didnt.

At no point in 2012 did Haye turn down a deal with Vitali, he wanted to fight Chisora first then Vitali next but as soon as he signed the Chisora deal K2 withdrew their offer & chose Charr instead.

The 1st press conference for Vitali-Charr was after Haye-Chisora. K2 couldve easily made the fight but they didnt want it.

    Dr. Ducker Rubber-mallet.
He'll check out fighting a bean can and quickly fade away into obscurity.

Well, Haye claims in December of 2011 the fight with Vitali was agreed, all that was missing was the signatures and dates/venue.

Haye gets into a brawl with Chisora in Feb 2012.

May 2012 - Haye agrees fight with Chisora, and thinks he has the power to call the shots for a Vitali fight in September.

I can only assume team Klitschko did not want things to happen this way, especially if Haye lost against Chisora or got injured, they would be out of a fight entirely. So they chose (allbeit a terrible opponent) in Charr.
