Bounced back with 2 DQ wins? C'mon man. The McCallum fight was less than a year on from Honeyghan. It's a stretch to say that Don Curry recovered.

Trinidad does deserve to be ranked higher as well IMO. Not in the top 100 but he's not miles off the Mexican trio IMO. Not skillwise but I'll take him over Curry too for all-round kudos.

McCallum ****ed him. That's one of the most blank-eyed interviews i've ever seen.

Tito true, though i think he's still on the same level as Marco overall.

Curry did actually get the kind of wins against contenders after his dire honey peformance that MAB got, it's just he didn't have the benefit of another fight against the one fighter he already knows so well as MAB did with Erik. He'd have had the same sort of comfort zone with another Starling fight, but it was never made.Had it been and he disgraced himself then i'd agree with you.

Not that i don't think Marco does deserve credit for pulling that last fight between them out.It would have been easy to fold considering what had happened since.

Yeah but you could see him find himself again, then, against McCallum it looked like he was better than ever. So that fight must've been crushing.

Junior Jones was not as good as Lloyd Honeyghan. And anyway, I do rank Barrera higher than Curry all things considered.

Agreed as I elaborated on above.

I think Starling Vs Molinares might be the greatest example of that. And if you're talking about bouncebackability then Magic Man beat the lineal champ', and Curry's successor, in his very next fight, and never looked close to being stopped again, and even pushed the pace against much bigger guys with no fear.

    Moochy deserves the above tangent.

What about Saad, McGrain. Not sure if he's been mentioned.

I think he's well worth a spot now.Not as long a prime as some of the fighters in your latest tiers, but better wins than many and just such a beast for a few years.

    Galindez too.

I'd have both above the three amigos, since we're talking excellent fighters in stacked era's here.Think they did more at their best weight against a wider variety of fighters and didn't have quite have as much staked in singular rivalries.

I'll take Arizmendi over all these scrubs.

Did they turn professional at 7 years of age? Didn't think so.

How many top light heavies have ranked? I'd have Saad at 9 or 10. Over Galindez, beat a lot of the best that Galindez beat and more. Many defences, many K.O wins over top contenders and fought future World champions FROM THE GET GO.

Yes, I can see him in this kinda' crowd. Rank him over Curry and Tito for sure. And yes, for depth, over Marcel too.

Think you might need to slip in a hipster favourite like Sibson, Buchanan, Marcel or Kalambay at the very end too.
