Really quite bad. He seems to have a weak neck which means that any shots that land on his head area are going to shake him up. Real shades of Amir Khan I'm afraid.
Dream on. This was an off balance shot, which damaged his inner ear, so it must have been immediately around this area, ergo a totally legit punch. Stop trying to make excuses and give Thompson his much deserved credit.
Man I would like to make excuses and everything. I'd love to say "temple shot." Or "caught on the ear." Or "perfect shot." Or a hundred other thing but the more I watch this KO the more I think that this was one of the most embarrassing and pathetic KOs I've ever seen. It was a glancing shot at half power and the guy dropped like a sac of bricks. And never looked like recovering. Not only that Price looked completely confused and bewildered by the simple intelligent ring craft that Thompson was showing before the KO. This performance just didn't look good at all. I really, really don't want to use this label but I gotta say it based on what I saw, Price is the next Audley harrison. Trust me he's not going anywhere in boxing. And that is something I almost never say about a prospect after they're first loss.....30 years old and thats what the **** happens....time to find a new J.O.B.....
:deal, caught on the ear or not, Price ain't going anywhere if he cant take such pity pat punches. Audley Harrison II indeed
Where are you from again? Given the time you tend to post on, I'm 90% sure you're from North America.
He's not the best fighter in Britain by any means, and frankly you'd have had to be a ****** to think so. For all Haye's crumbling against Wlad, he's still far and away the best heavyweight in Britain. He's fast, hits hard and fights explosively. Heaps of shite like Fury, Chisora and Price are not in Haye's league and never will be. All three of them are awkward and annoying to watch. Having said that, everyone mentioned in this post is at least a step below the K Bros.
