    did you expect him to stay unbeaten forever because he was fighter of the decade last decade? the man is a missionary first, politician second, and a fighter third. its a wonder he can even compete at world level still.

    even then he only signed when they didn't look dangerous in their fight prior to him

    but yea, obviously nobody has fought better comp in their 7th division. look at Floyd shying away from any natural sww in only his 5th weight class

    because:
    1) He's the 1st fighter to start off at 108 and win a welter title
    2) He was supposed to be too small and not as effective at 130, let alone 135+
    3) He's a pressure fighter, so his style shouldn't really work against bigger guys.
    4) If in 2007 you would suggest manny would achieve what he has at +135 you would be banned from this forum and considered a nutjob.
    5 and my favourite) He also caused one of the greatest talents to ever lace up a pair of boxing gloves run and hide like a ***** due to health concerns.

    Its an impressive run. And i agree its not the greatest welter run, but taking into account this all just a bonus to his already HOF career. He was P$P number one at 130 before he even did any of this.

    Yeah and Pac's health concerns over blood tests was really warrior like huh? :lol: :patsch

    He has been a welterweight ever since 130 lbs.
