    Look at his little face!

Cracking fighter, but a good bit lower than you I reckon. I'd have Lopez above him. But Lopez for me is looking to come in at around the 115 mark, somewhere right behind Joe Calzaghe. If you want a number i'd reckon..129!

I'd like to tell you it's not too late but...it is. Sorry Eddie.

You can just say, "Manny Pacquiao" though, I don't think his being my #53 really makes it any better or anything.

Great fight that. Great, great moment when Morales went southpaw again in the 12th. Roy Jones, furious, furious.

It is easy to look at these things and criticise, particularly as you read down the list, but Young Griffo at 83 and on a tier of his own, is really hard to justify, i think. He needs to be raised.

I do not know whether or not the original rules about swapping and holding apply as i havent read a lot of the thread relating to change overs but i would say that the following are absolutely glaring ommissions (unless of course i just missed them which is highly possible):
    1. Tommy Burns - outside of Fitzsimmons he is the only light heavy ever to hold the Heavy title. He must be on the list.
    2. Sandy Saddler - Edited - I see that he was Included!
    3. Joe Choynski - I know he wasnt as good as Corbett (who himself could easily be in the calculations) but he was nowhere near as big. His KO over Johnson may possibly be the best Pound for pound performance ever and his draw with Jeffries is a very underated pound for pound victory. He didnt have the titles around to let him have a dominant reign, but those two victories along with a succesful career fighting heavier fighters could easily put him in the mix.
    4. Les Darcy - It really is such a shame that he didnt get to fight in his first year in America. Politics robbed him of likely wins over Gibbons, Greb and Dillon. Still, what he did at such a young age must have him starting to rank now.
    5. Jimmy Barry - Surely i have missed this guy. One of the greatest little guys ever, and one of the few to retire as undefeated world heavyweight champion. Surely, at worst he has to be on a tier near Marciano and McAuliffe.

I will leave it that except to throw out the following names who have probably been forgotten, but who must start to be near some of the guys on the lists levels: Fenech, Caruthers, Tszyu, Jeffries, Blackburn, Holly, Dillon, Cerdan, Zale.

**** Darcy. He's always making these lists and shouldn't. Ready through the thread, Barry has already been addressed. Burns; what about Mike Spinks?

Saddler is in there, quite high.

Back to Calzaghe, I don't feel comfortable with having him above Conteh unless he's being ranked highly for his longevity and consistency over mainly average opposition.

And I'm not sure I'd have Conteh in the top 120.

    McGrain,

This is such a difficult task. But since it is your list, i would be very, very interested, if you could give an indication of what position you would rank each of the above fighters in their main fighting division. It is interesting that some guys eg Jack O Brien are rated higher pound for pound than he would be (I would have thought) in their own weight divisions.

Langford, Fitzsimmons and Armstrong are others who might fit this description. IN contrast others like Hagler and MOnzon seem to be much higher regarded as middleweights than on a pound for pound level. It is quite interesting, i think.

Two things I really don't understand are Griffith 19 spots ahead of Rodriguez and Tommy 25 spots ahead of Mike. Wasn't it pretty much the consensus at the time that Mike was the superior brother?

These things have probably already been discussed, but get ****ed if you think I'm reading all this.
