Margarito was coming off a 1 year suspension, had 1 tuneup, and fought at a division in which he never won a title. In fact, his "tune up" is his only victory above 147 pounds. And it was at a 150 catch weight....

Margarito was not top 5 at 147 when Manny fought him.
Neither was Mosley.
Neither was Clottey.

Cotto is his best win at 147, by far. That's about all he has.

That being said factoring in the 2 Marquez robberies an Pacquiao is 4-4-1 against opponents not coming of some type of vicious/career altering loss since 2003 and that is something to think about
