and would he have the speed to step back out of range as Wlad did the few times Haye tried to launch an attack on him?

The truth is, in my opinion, that he would be scared.

He would know that should he lose that fight he would be the laughingstock of all of boxing.

Haye would out-speed him and stop him late.

He doesn't fight Haye he doesn't have the athleticism and reflexes required to jump backwards out of danger like Wlad did all night.

But for sure if it ever happened he would try to keep it at distance and try to counter Haye.

he wouldnt have to back out of range

he would step in and fire when Haye throws his big telegraphed wide winging amateur swings from the other side of the ring

Vitali would beat him to the punch and make him pay for his missed punches

Wlad was content to make him miss

    Vitali will punch

    The solution is simplicity itself:

Vitali just backs away for a few rounds, using his height as his main defense.

Occasionally, he must throw a few slow, wide lefts at Haye, making sure that the thumb connects with Haye's face. With some luck, this will open a cut above Haye's eye.

Then Vitali must get in close, and rub that cut up & down with his right glove.

Then he just gets his ring doctor to stop the fight, before Haye's cutman has a chance to do even look at it.

Tried & true. There IS a blueprint! :good

Vitaly would walk haye down and clobber him with arm punches

Haye will be too scared to throw, and would probably retire around round 9

Difference between Wlad and Vitali is that Haye's big shots aren't going to have much effect on Vitali.

I think Haye could win a solid UD assuming there's no corruption. But only if he comes to fight.

Vitali will have to pursue Haye like Wlad did.

Haye stayed away from Wlad alot, yes, but there were other situations, several in fact, where Haye stood RIGHT IN FRONT of Wlad and was still amazingly hard for Wlad to nail. Even Wlad admitted this.

VItali would probably be better at cutting the ring off than Wlad was, as Vitali is not at all worried about being KOed........In fact If Haye manages to lunge in and land, Vitali will get riled up and start exchanging with him, toe to toe, as he did Corrie Sanders and others.

But then again, Vitali seemed a bit weary of Arreola, and Vitali seemed to keep moving away from Arreola, whereas he seemed to stand his ground and kept Peter at bay with hard punches, which thwarted Peter's advancing.

Vitali vs Haye would be interesting, assuming Haye comes to fight and is willing to exchange, at least every now and then.

Lol Vitali's chin is so overrated just based on one uppercut he took from Lewis. Haye would take him out within 6 rounds. Vitali feet are too slow to move out the way of punches.

This fight aint going to happen so stop wasting time talking about it. If it ever does Vitali will win by a boring 12 round UD.

I don't think you can say it is overrated being he never got knocked down. But his skin is kinda weak for sure as Lewis showed us.

Vitali would win the fight before it even stared due to sheer intimidation. Haye is the softest HW fighter I've ever seen.
