:deal IF everyone could play footy at NRL standard then they would earn average wages but thats not the case so they deserve to earn a fair share of the revenue they bring to their clubs. I'd never watched a game of league until I came to Oz and the first game I saw was the 3rd round of the state of origin and since then its become my favourite (non combat) sport. However, I still know **** all so can someone give me a good preview of this NRL season. Players and teams to look out for etc. I'm going to go to my first game on the 11th Knights/Wests really looking forward to it.
I've been told this already by my cousins (Souths fans), my dad grew up on Narrabean and is a Manly supporter but hes a **** so suppose that is evidence. Got an Oz passport mate and I would never bet such a noble document on any sport.
My cousins are pretty diehard, their mum even works at The Souths Juniors club. Also Inglis was the first player I really noticed during the State of Origin hes a ****ing monster. Why Hulk? As a true sportsfan I will support my local team, the Knights.
Take Manly out of that sentence and replace them with This content is protected and you're on the right track :yep Narrabeen 4 lyfe bro, that's where I live, great place, better than Newcastle or dirty, scummy inner-city This content is protected :yep You still got any family living down here?
If you know the North Narrabean beach parking bit then my dad grew up in one of the houses next to there backing onto the beach. Shame they didn't keep hold of the property they'd be very rich now. Most of my family still live over here most live on the Northern beaches or around Maroubra but I have family all over.
7 Days till The Roosters stomp on the throats of Souffs and squeeze the life out of them! You can smell it, Footy right around the corner! Thursday as always will set the bar for the rest of the league, this game should ALWAYS open the season, No one does it better then these 2 clubs that hate eachother, Having us on the monday last year was a disgrace! That's a very choice spot, I've got mates who live along that street (Ocean Street) who have properties backing onto the beach - apart from coastal erosion they've got it made - either hang onto it and enjoy living there or sell to developers and make a motza. The area closest to the carpark has been developed a bit, with a lowrise luxury apartment block overlooking the beach and a couple of restaurants and a cafe on the street side, but it's still nice and chilled :good
