Bob Foster versus Jack Dempsey

I wouldn't be shocked if Foster scored a knockdown or even a stoppage, but I would expect Dempsey to maul him.

Some fighters can move up from lightheavy to heavy effectively. Foster was not one of them.

i dont hate him i just dont rate the old timers very highly compared to even average modern fighters.its the law of nature that things have improved.
30 odd years ago i saw film of dempsey v willard and he loked awful then

 

So what sort of time scale are we talking ,say Henry Armstrong how would he do toady . Or is his era ok were would the cut off line be era wise

it was fine.i hadnt been for 3 years.17 quid for a check up, 30 for a filling which took about a minute

 

its a testament to how underrated dempsey is on this forum that some people are actually picking him to lose this fight. Foster might stun him, but Foster never knocked out any notable heavyweight

Dempsey by murder. This would be more of a one sided match up than the Foster-Frazier fight.
