You're going to buy his fight regardless. So am I.

I personally don't care anymore, because it doesn't matter. There is nobody left. Guerrero could be seen as a joke of an opponent. A cherry pick. A tomato can. A cherry tomato. But who is available that is honestly better?

Pacquiao? Just got his face punched off by Roidquez.
Roidquez? Already beat his ass thoroughly.
    Bradley? Embarrassed by Pacquiao.
Martinez? I'm done with that **** unless Martinez wants to show he can fight at 154 against somebody decent first. I don't want to hear "drained" excuses if and when they fight.

Ring has Guerrero ranked 3rd (ahead of Pacquiao) at WW anyway.

Could he fight Alvarez or Trout? I guess. I don't see either as being significantly better than Guerrero aside from being naturally much bigger than Floyd. I also would like to see them fight each other and Floyd possibly fight the winner of that.

I do still want to see the Pacquiao fight but I need to see if Pacquiao will be able to recover from that KO first, and Pacquiao also has some unfinished business with Marquez and perhaps even Bradley, if the latter is only due to disgracefully corrupt judging.

How do the rest of my ESB brethren feel about this?

    Cherry tomato

As long as he stays active and fights the top contenders at his weight there isn't anything to complain about.

Boxing fans want to see Floyd push himself and take challenges.

Floyd fans don't care who he fights as long as they don't have much of a chance of winning.

I don't really care who he fights, just as long as he fights, because I'm a fan and I enjoy watching him fight. Simple really.

Ghost is best possible fight at WW (Bradley = TR). How could I be disappointed?

I personally think this fight will be competitive.

I would not buy PPV if it was Alexander. That's certain.

The Ghost stands a better chance than Tim bradley vs Floyd.

If he fights guys like Ortiz and Guerrero i am fine with it. Those are top contenders who have put together a string of good victories and seem to be at their best.
I do think he should venture up to 154 for one more time against Trout.

People have a problem if he fights out of prime champs, in prime champs and everything in between. There is nothing wrong with Floyd's choice of opponents but more so his haters just have a constant pms bc they want to see him lose.

The biggest thing that concerns me as a fan is how his legacy is regarded after he retires. People are going to hold Pacquiao, Cotto, Margarito and so on against him and so I hope in these final few years he does something that can make up for that. Fighting the likes of Guerrero and Ortiz and no doubt the likes of Garcia and Alexander afterwards, stirs no satisfaction in me. For his talents and what he's worth I believe he should be challenging himself. Doing something that the likes of Hopkins, Leonard, Pacquiao and many other greats have done. Exceeding expectations and things which weren't expected of him. Sergio Martinez at junior middle is the ideal person to do that against.

I personally dont blame Mayweather for taking the career path he has taken, even though as a fan I am disappointed I never got to see a few challenges that didnt materialize.

*****'s however are irritating as they defend everything he says and does.

I am not interested in seeing him fight Robert Guerrero, at all.

I'll always hope he might bump into a challenge that seems easy on paper but proves otherwise in the ring. With only a few fights left in him, I hope he takes on at least one that has a solid chance of winning and proves the public otherwise.

Both stand no chance. At least Guerrero has some size to entertain even as he gets outclassed, Bradley has no size or power.
