Alvarez wants to make sure he gets his chance @a 36yr old Mayweather before someone else does. These young bucks are foaming at the mouth right now.

As you've said, Canelo not being on the under-card May 4th doesn't bother me. It's the fact that Canelo is putting out there that his next fight won't even be against the guy who beat the man he was signed to fight next. **** is pathetic. And the Cinnamon suckers don't care. :patsch

Dick Schaefer doesn't believe Trout has done enough to land a "Canelo Alvarez fight".

Canelo is sounding like Khan before the wheels fell off the tracks. So worried about his next fight, he gets ****ed in his upcoming one. At least Khan took on tough challengers.

    :yep

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer came right out and said that he’s not planning on letting WBA World junior middleweight champion Austin Trout face his fighter Saul “Canelo” Alvarez next. Schaefer said that he prefers matching Miguel Cotto up with Canelo instead. As for Trout, Schaefer feels that he needs at least three possibly four fights before he can maybe get a shot against Canelo.

Speaking with ESPN, Schaefer said “I don’t think one fight itself gives you a big, big fight. It’s an accumulation of things you do. I really don’t see that [Trout vs. Alvarez] happening…Maybe have Trout get a few more big fights, then ease your way into it.”

Who does this kid think he is? Trout will shut this hype job out and hopefully end his sad ass career... if Canelo decides to even fight him.

I wonder what Oscar privately feels about Canelo. He knows this **** is completely ass backwards, but lets Dick do his job.
