based on what we know about similar fights, I would imagine they split 100k 60-40 in Prices favour. but this is an extremely rough estimate.

It's my belief (and I was told by a close source to Tony)

That he doesn't know exactly how much Price got for the fight.

But as for Tony Thompson, he won a free meal in KFC, a free ticket to Alton Towers and a £10 of gift voucher to spend in a boxing sports shop.

After the fight, he went to KFC, the next day he used the tenner gift voucher to buy another gum shield, as he lost it on fight night. And the free ticket to Alton Towers, he gave to David Price so he can cheer himself up.

Fat Dan said Tony Thompson was originally offered about $20,000 but wanted more money. He came over so I imagine he managed to get it. I doubt he got much more though because Maloney hasn't really got a pot to **** in remember. Price probably got between £75-50,000, Thompson about half that. He probably made a couple of 100,000 easy for the Klitschko fight so that's why he considered his purse low.
