Closer Fight: Broner Vs. PDL or Rios Vs. Abril

If you have to ask you are a fanboy trying to "prove" a point. Broner-PDL was much closer. Abril schooled Rios for about 10 rounds. However, Abril is much tougher to fight than PDL. PDL is at least hittable. Abril is very very good on that philly shell. Much better defensively than anything Broner has ever shown and hell on level with PBF. Also Abril is 6' tall while PDL is 5'5".

They just are not comparable.

 

I might be the minority but I personally thought Broner beat PDL, but I also wouldnt have argued(or been the least bit upset) if PDL got the W instead. It was a close competitive fight but i thought Broner eeked it out.Rios - Abril on the other hand was a blatant robbery. Being generous you could make the case Rios won 4 rounds at best.I do however believe if they rematch Rios does waaaayyy better.He didnt look like himself that night at all.

 

Have to re-watch Rios-Abril.

 

They are comparable Abril was a fill in Rios was suppose to fight Gamboa instead. This was suppose to be a showcase fight for Rios a last minute replacement that Rios was suppose to knock out. PDL on the other hand was not suppose to be a cakewalk. He was a vet and a former champ a very tough fight for a green Broner to take.

 

Some people view Abrils style as a cowardly performance I am sorry to score you must land shots Brandons were the harder cleaner of the two he was the aggressor I never favor the man in retreat you know this.

 

I can give two shits what peoeple view Abril performance as, thats not the point, I've specifically asked what Rios has done to get the victory in this fight...Other people opinion of this fight holds no weight to how shitty Rios performed...If he was cowardly as you dudes try to make him out to be, dont you think Rios should have bulldozed through this so called coward (in your pathetic words:verysad)

You dont award a guy that didnt do a thing of note as the victor...See thats why boxing is falling off with fans thinking like you!

 

Broner vs Ponce De Leon was a close fight. I'd need to rewatch it to call a winner.

Abril schooled Rios in my opinion.

I'm pretty sure I had Abril winning by shut out, or is was at least pretty damn close, so even with PDL winning every round (not what happened) the Broner PDL fight was closer.
