True enough that Venice could have been a bad fight for him, but he ddin't seem the sort to get ruined by a loss.

i reckon he'd have been a major factor in the division one way or another for most of the 70s.

Oh, of course. But I imagine They'd both have ended up at 118 anyway. Venis (this is how it's spelt BTW, and I have his phone number and address now) was ****ed at fly and I've read that Ohba was planning to move up, tough it might've materialised into one of those Pone-lanky but never actually did it, scenarios, whereas Borkorsor was a tank ****ed at the weight.

Anyway, hopefully the enigmatic Bus Station might not be for much longer.

    I can live with that.

How far off exactly did Mandell go from in to out? I think he's surely above Locche & O'Brien, personally. Same with Pancho Villa. Almost feel he was just forgotten and it's too late for him now. I mean, surely he was better than O'Brien.

Hopefully Mandell would come in between 101-105

Dillion was very consistent and great against bigger opposition. But was he that much better than Mike Gibbons, who was a smaller man that beat him twice? I don't think so. I'd close the gap between the two.

Villa. Ellorde has quite a respectable run, though.

The typo is what you take away. Anyway Pancho villa isn't even the toughest dude named Pancho villa of the era.

I've been dodging this thread until now and I know why, it's awesome but mind blowing. Haven't time to read it all (who has?) but here is my two cent-Euro.
Fitz too low-at which weight above welter did Sam achieve more?
Conn a tad high, beating Pastor and a bunch of average Light-heavies?
Gibbons also too high but I have been impressed reading up here recently on his Greb saga. Still Tunney, Miske, Dempsey, Greb......
Dillon too high, Mike Gibbons too low-I'd be strong on this point. If Jack is that high, where is Battling Levinsky?
Too big of a gap from Manny to Marquez, Morales and Barrera.
Jack Dempsey was overrated for sure-read up on him!
I'd have Tyson but not Foreman...
Maybe consider Kid McCoy-he's a bit forgotten,
I'd have Hopkins lower and where is RJJ-he has to be in surely-I'm sure all this was trashed out earlier.
AFTER ALL THAT, IT'S A GREAT LIST, ONE I CAN LIVE WITH!
