Margarito or Baldomir? Who had the better single win at this point in time?

there is no case for Margarito to beat Floyd.....the absolute only thing i keep hearing is that he can take punches better than Baldomir and he has a high workrate.

this fight ends up the same way as the Baldomir fight.....boring one sided snoozefest!

Fact: When Arum made Floyd the offer to fight Margarito, Margarito had beaten NO ONE of note besides Kermit Cintron ROFL. Floyd decided to make the same 8 million fighting Baldomir (The lineal champion, more accomplished). :hi:. If Floyd had fought Margarito instead of Baldo, we would probably be spammed with "Floyd ducked Baldomir (The Lineal Champ)" today.

Afterwards, Floyd decided to go fight Oscar (Someone bigger and much more of a threat than Cheatarito). No one was criticizing Floyd for taking that fight, because it was more dangerous to him and more financially sound. :deal

Also if you didn't know (Btw you don't know **** about boxing). Floyd fought Zab because their deal was already SIGNED. Zab was supposed to wipe the floor with Baldo (True) but that didn't happen. He still kept the end of his bargain.

Margarito SURE woulda been a good fight but he just didn't do enough. Beating on WBO mandatories, best win = Kermit Cintron, losing to Santos does not really do much for you.

I've stated this before. The only time Margarito was fit/in line to face Floyd. He then goes to loses to PWill. So why make the fight? No reason to.

Wrong. Margarito was a bigger, stronger version of Jose Luis Castillo, but clearly not as fast and did not have his technique. But he had other traits that Castillo had. Will to win, determination, heart, work-rate, etc. Boxing has shown that you don't have to be a speed-demon or power puncher to win fights. And again, I'm not saying he would have beat FMJ, but that was probably the fight I wanted to see most outside of FMJ vs Pac.
