Canelo needs to call out Andre Ward, dare to be great like Mayweather was back at 130

When Floyd was 130-135, he was calling out ODLH/Mosley (Guys fighting at WW/JR MW (Oscar in 2001)

If Canelo ever wants to be a MEGA star, he's gotta at least call out the guys at at higher weight. Mr.Andre Ward, Martinez would be a pass too.

No. Canelo's body is ripe for 154. As he gets bigger he will be physically limited in the upper weight classes (MW and on)... His arms are too short to use his style at higher weights.

Floyd has long arms and is able to carry his style/adaptability through higher weight classes.

Canelo could always get the juice from manny though. That would enable him also

 

26inches isn't considered long (Even though he's 5'8). Duran/Pacquiao moved up just fine. Canelo can do it too.

He really needs to fight Andre if he wants to be great.

Nope only Floyd has to climb multiple weight classes in order to prove himself. Everyone else can do what they want :nono

 

160 max, How about Canelo busts a WARD and tell him to meet him at 154? or in the middle like 160? you know bring down the champ and drain him like a BOSS?

Canelo should be boss like WARD and have ward come down to 160, drain em like a boss you know. Since Canelo would be the money man, ward can say yes and come down, or move on to other things.

Canelo simply doesn't want to be great. He hasn't even fought a JR MW until now.

But it's ok, the highest of standards should only be placed on Mayweather. (Someone who has to move up 2-3 weight divisions to be great)
