    The whole reason Suliman made this rule was to give Alvarez an excuse not to fight Trout. Now the Alvarez-Trout is happening I'd thought he'd scrap the rule.

    This. If they have any sense, any unified champ will drop the WBC belt when given this ultimatum. In next to no time the WBC would rank alongside the WBF and the IBU.
