I would say yes to disclosing what fighters earn every fight, but If I'm being honest, I wouldn't want it, because it would be to much like the UFC, and I cant stand that zombiefied **** at the best of times. IT IS TIME!!!!! ukke Every UFC I've watched, is like groundhog day, everything is the same. Production, commentary, everything. The commentators explain everything like you are a bilnd ****** who hasn't got a clue about MMA. Its aimed at a demographic, and the main one seems to be pissed up screaming chavs who want to throw horns up. I wouldnt want boxing to ever take something the UFC does. Don't get me wrong, boxing has changed a lot, and it's no long pure either, but the day they start bringing across UFC ideas. I'm gonna have to look for something else. :|
So Price took £60k to fight Thompson but turned his nose up at £100k to fight Fury over a year ago. He must be kicking himself
By that argument we should be able to demand the salary of every Tesco worker, etc...... Do you think we could ask Fast Eddie or VVarren on twitter what they both earn, coz we the fans pay their salaries?
He was mandatory challanger. For a voluntary Klitscko opponents don't get much but for mando they get a guarenteed 25% so Klitsckos pay them well to not go to purse bids.
He must have got over a million for a Klitcshko fight as he was mandatory, you get a decent percentage of the purse.
Both Klitschko fights were from mandatory shots so he made far more than a couple of hundred thousand. I'd say well over a million each time.
If he got 25% of the purse hes probably looking at multiple millions, How much do they make a fight? 5-10 million?
The multi millions that the Klits make might not have anything to do with the size of the purse , it could just be promotional guarantees and TV deals....nothing to do with the opponents share of the purse.
