"Souths" is their pre-NRL name - since being allowed back into the comp after whinging so much about being relegated because they didn't meet NRL regulations, and presenting ZERO threat to any team not just during normal comp time but in the one and only finals game they've made in that time, they've been rechristened

You still see 3 or 4 junkie lookin bear die hards during games. They come dressed in their bears gear carrying around a " save the bears bucket" hoping people like me will throw change into it.
Its nice that Souths reinstatement has given them strength and a will to fight. Just a shame they have **** all fans to soldier on. Sad story. :-(

 

Yeah my dad and his brothers have a lot of stories of growing up there right on the beach my dad used to walk along the beach collecting cans to sell. It was a lot less built up 45 years ago though. I was down in Sydney over Christmas and my uncle took me on a drive and we had a look out over Narrabean lagoon and I was amazed it wasn't more built up. Would be incredible living on the water like that.

I was more in need for some tips and things to look out for this season.

I think I'd be cut out of the family if I did that. I was staying at my great-aunts for the final and they made her change her top because it was too close to maroon.

Inglis is a good Fullback but Mini in his prime was amazing, Its sad that injury after injury cutt his prime in half, his still very good under the highball but has lost so much attack

I think GI is going to be a better fullback in the near future but at the moment he doesn't have the runs on the board.

I don't recall Mini having a better season at fullback than GI had last season. Providing he stays injury free, GI will go even better this season after having a full off season fullback training under his belt, which is something he didn't have last season.
