Going by the same time line.

    So

    Young Pre Manny Wladimir vs
    Gary Mason
    Razer Ruddock
    Tony Tucker
    Frank Bruno
    Tyrell Biggs
    Olivier Mccall

Wladimir of Sam Peter I Fight vs
    Prime Ray Mercer
    Tommy Morrison
    Olivier Mccall II

    Wladimir of 2009-2011 vs
    Henry Akinwande
    Andrew Golota
    Evander Holyfield I + II
    Shannon Briggs
    David Tua
    Michael Grant
    Fransis Brotha

    Current Wladimir vs
    Rahman
    Tyson (2002)

This last fight is interesting, because we don't know how Wlad will look in 10 months time. So we will give him the benefit of the doubt and say he retains his current form.

    vs

    Prime Vitali

Ruddock, Tucker, Bruno and McCall are all great fights posing Wlad with huge challenges. I think a 50-50 record is likely.

I dont see any of the second group beating Wlad and he probably stops McCall the second time.

Akinwande and Holyfield would be very interesting fights. I get the feeling Holyfield splits the series for some reason, and i wouldnt be surprised if Akinwande scores an upset. A young Briggs and Tua would also have been very interesting, both with a punchers chance, particularly tua.

I cant see Rahman getting over Wlad, but tyson is a very interesting proposition. Wlad must start favourite, but if Tyson does land early, then even that version of Tyson could definitely cause an upset.

That Pre-Manny version of Wlad might have gotten knocked out by Mccall. You are right, that first list vs Young Wlad would have posted massive issues simply due to Wlad's horrendous stamina and lack of defense.

I think Prime Mercer stops the Wlad who fought Peter tbh.

To be fair though, they would have been some great fight, and if he somehow improved enough to learn to take a punch and pace himself (and i think the higher quality fighters might have taught him this) he could have developed into a truly special fighter by the time he came around to his later career. (no wonder Lewis and Bowe ducked him in this hypothetical scenario )

YOu may be right. But i think that prime mercer is greatly overated. I think Wlad would beat him.

Prime Wlad will beat any version of Mercer. I was going by the 'timeline' aka.. Lewis fighting Prime Mercer soon after he got with Steward = Wlad going right after Mercer instead of Sam Peters. Interesting scenario.

I just watched the Peter fight and Wlad looked terrified for half the rounds. I don't think he was fully developed in that fight and if Peter wasn't so obese he might have gotten him.

There was one round too where Wlad was in big trouble and Merchant said 'Moment of Truth' but than the bell ended right when Wlad got up from the kd.

The young Wlad may pick up a loss or 2 on the early part of that.

Manny Steward Wlad is much harder to beat but the likes of Holyfield, Vitali and Tyson are far bigger tests than he's faced. I know people write off the Tyson win but he's a very tough style for Wlad to contain. Even Briggs is dangerous. Akinwande is better than most of those but stylistically not strong enough to contain Wlad.

I agree PP. Tyson looked alive in that first round and only Lewis's aggressive punching on the back foot took the starch out of him. A fight with Wlad could pan out differently.

I'd still be picking Wlad though.

I'd pick Wlad in all of them, but I don't think he wins them all, probably loses around 3 out of the whole lot. Fighting a 32yo Vitali when your 37 is no easy task either, actually I'd pick Vitali to edge that one

I am going with 5, based on two losses to Holyfield, a tough early run (2 losses i cant predict which ones though) and a punchers loss in later years maybe a Tyson but again a difficult one to predict exactly who pulls it off and i agree with PP that wlad would be favourite in each fight.

I think he'd lose 1 fight to McCall, Holyfield and young Vitali without much doubts. I think Rahman would have a great chance to do what he did to Lewis. Probably another guy from the first group too, as Wlad was green. I'd say 3-5 defeats, so let's answer 4.

I think he loses to one of Ruddock, Bruno or McCall before hooking up with Steward.

I can see him losing to when steward first takes over.

I think the only threat to him then is Holy who I pick to beat him.
