It is an idiotic argument to focus your criticism solely on Floyd's fans from among those buying into his fights, when, in actual fact, a large majority of those making up such PPV buys are arguably those hoping and wishing to see him (Floyd) lose! So, what's your point?

Even if your core criticism was correct, why are you trying to be holier than the Pope? Why don't you allow Floyd's fans to spend their money as they wish or deem fit? Are you their Guardian Angel? Have you cleaned the moth from your own eyes first?

Holy crap...aome just argue like 14-year-olds!

Yea. He needs a non-PPV star like Canelo or else his PPV is screwed. Yeah right.

Wrong. Canelo WAS on the Ortiz/Mayweather undercard. He fought Gomez.

If Canelo is such a PPV star:

    Why didn't he boost Mosley-Mora?

Why doesn't headline his own PPV?

Really? So how did that change? And...why isn't he headlining a PPV now?

You're right. I remember I was at the Ohio St vs UMiami game and made sure I bounced at halftime so I could get back to see the Canelo fight!!!:rofl

What do you mean how did it change? How do you think? Trout could be PPV. He hasn't fought anybody decent yet.

Most people don't realize how difficult it is to hit the 1M mark. Mayweather has done it consistently for many yrs. His critics are going to point and laugh when they see his number drop (but still over 1M buys). The joke is on them. If you go back in history and check the numbers you'll see that reaching 1M is quite impressive when you consider every big fight that's been materialized.

He'll probably try and pop his suck-up Broner out his backside and throw him on the undercard instead

Hmm seems like Canelo the PPV star will have the biggest fight of his career on regular Showtime.

The Canelo/Trout fight is one of the top 10 fights (if not top 5) that can be made in world boxing today - the fact that it isn't going to be a PPV, says all you need to know about Canelo as a PPV star.
