Same here, I Know we have said & heard it before & has become cliche now for Recent Hopkins fights but...

    Maybe he becomes old overnight???

I think Hopkins has been getting gradually old over many nights (lol). His ring generalship carried the day for him against Pascal both times. Against Dawson, his defensive capabilities were intact, but he wasn't good enough to set up his right hand and bully back like he used to do to southpaws back in the day. So it depends how well Hopkins can control Cloud. If he can't out-maneuver him or keep him honest or push him back, Cloud might muscle through and just rip into him. But I think Hopkins has just enough left.

Cloud's only chance is a lucky punch. If Hopkin's legs are working and not completely shot, he should be able to control the distance and pace of the fight with his feet alone. Cloud is just way too crude, predictable and slow for Hopkins to get tagged regularly. I mean Dawson barely landed anything and he's much faster, accurate and talented. But this is boxing so it only takes one shot.

Hopkins UD. Cloud was chosen for a reason. Dude is garbage. As long as BHop aint shot to **** he should take it. He looked terrible against Dawson, but Dawson didnt look much better.

Hopkins is playing a dangerous game, Cloud is mechanical and usually comes at his opponents in a straight line, but he does have excellent power. I wouldn't bet on this one.

cloud was coming up the rankings as a new james toney. lovely set up and mechanics. just cant fight outside that style or have any grander gameplan than walk in with a jab and throw over hand right counters and left hooks.

could see hop slowing the fight to nothing with cloud throwing some bigger stuff out of frustration then getting tagged by a right lead then hop dissappears to his right while cloud is setting his feet.

cloud is a good fighter just doesnt have enough dimensions for a man who is completely planned out a way to beat him.
