for testing positive for marijuanaatsch. how is that supposed to enhance his performance? This lowers the chance of a unnecessary Martinez rematch.
Well that's bull**** who gives a flying **** if the dude smoked a blunt? If it was a PED then fair enough a lengthy ban is in order but this should of resulted in a small ban and/or a small fine at best.
It's legal to smoke marijuana in certain states. But you're right who gives a flying f if he's smoking blunts.
I think the issue is that it can be used as a masking agent for other substances. 9 months is a lot though.
Serves his dumbass right. He needs to get more dedicated to the sport and quit ****ing around. You must remember he got a DUI while training for a fight as well.
Plenty of time to still put on a Martinez Vs. Chavez II. Jr. Can be back in the ring as early as June 15th of this year. (Suspension runs the moment the first fight ended)
Go make them look like the clowns they are by FIGHTING IN ANOTHER STATE!! These athletes are too ***** whipped by these commisions.
rematch is in september.....his suspension ends in june....plenty of time to make the fight happen with martinez
900K is alot. What he make for the Martinez fight? He'll be back in June for a tune up and then proceed with the rematch in September. Vegas is just mad they won't get to hold it, so they up'd the fine to make up for it.
