I agree. With all of the CLEAN right hands Marquez was landing, Pacquiao was a knockout waiting to happen...

I've never seen a man get beat down so bad, that his opponent ended up face first on the canvas as a result of the beat down he was taking....... Pacquiao must have just got tired of punching Marquez and decided to take a nap.

And for the idiots that keep saying: "Marquez was on the verge of being stopped..." -- ******* Ass Hats: I got news for you since you've obviously never thrown a meaningful punch in your life: You can't get any power on your shot without your legs. Period. Arm punches look good, but don't do ****.

Basically, Marquez was so "ready to go," that his legs were strong and his mind was sharp (timing) when he planted Pacquiao face first..... Ready to go and celebrate maybe.

 

Pac fought so stupid going for the KO Marquez was landing bombs on him.

 

Manny was definitely winning that fight.....only losing the 3rd.....which he was also controlling before getting caught and floored. But JMM was having limited success with some counter rights and decent body work.

 

Yep. Round was in the bank and Marquez was cut. Very foolish.

Why his foolishness isn't talked about more than Marquez's "lucky" punch is beyond me. Yea, Marquez is lucky... lucky Pacquao was an idiot and walked right in without throwing anything. Unless you count that half-ass jab he threw as a punch.

 

Pac was doing his best Ali impression and got KTFO. He forget he wasn't fighting a bum like Margarito.

 

Pacquiao landed his own knockdown, that wasn't "air" that did it. Pacquiao looked quicker and more mobile than he did in their 3rd fight. Marquez was up against a more offensively determined Pacquiao. One fighter's success doesn't erase success had by the other fighter. This forum needs to learn that.

And people need to stop saying Manny was fighting dumb, it discredits the victory. Marquez is the only fighter since Morales who has been able to time him. Each fighter was going for the knockout, Manny stepped into his jab, Marquez took advantage and positioned himself for the perfect right hand.

 

People need to watch the fight again. No one has even mentioned JMM's body shots that weas putting the Manny assault to a dead stop. Its all good though. Another misconception was that Manny helped JMM out giving him another chance when in all reality it was the only decent money fight Manny could make.

 

There's nothing Pacman could of done any different to beat JMM. Live with it.
