JCC Jr. should of been caught using PED's since that is not as severe as been caught with weed on your system. Just look at PEDertson, PEDerto and Big Poppa "Mosley" Pump for an example.

    30% To the tax man
    30% To the commission
5%-10% or so to his trainer and team
The WBC have also fined him 20k

That 3 million purse isn't looking quite so impressive now.

900K seems a lot (30% of his purse). If only the sanctions were the same for all drug cheats (i.e. the likes of Berto, Peterson).

This country is down the shitter because weed is still considered illegal. If anything the dumbass lowered his testosterone before the biggest fight of his life, literally. Certainly not performance enhancing, and shouldn't be illegal in a state with 120 alchol related deaths this year

Agree with you. They can barely catch guys who use performance enhancing drugs but they're banning someone for using performance dehancing drugs? Crazy.

    Actually, the order would be:

    30% To the commission
5%-10% or so to his trainer and team
    THEN
30% of what's left to the tax man.

    - But 900K is still a whopper. I wonder if the fine is tax deductable? (probably)

Anyway, it's not like he needs to worry about money .....

Don't understand why this seems unfair to a lot of fans.
He's a recidivist. He's has been caught on substances a couple of times now and even if it is just pot this time, in any other sport he would have already been banned for a couple of years now.

Not unfair at all. I think that Peterson getting away with taking drugs id unfair, he should have lost both titles, not just one...............

9 months is pretty harsh for a drug that's really a performance de-hancment and to top it all off the guy gets a 900,000 dollar fine! The only thing I can think of, as to why the penalty was so harsh is because of his past behavior, and the whole diuretic fiasco.

It's bull****. He got more for smoking a bit of weed than he did for taking drugs that allowed him to fight people 30 lbs lighter than him. Why can't a bit of ****ing common sense be applied. :patsch
