Yup....but it's business. He will cut his losses if he's smart because based on that performance Dib was a bad investment. Gamboa and Dirrell are proven blue chip fighters. But Curtis has to be mad. He paid Dib some good money.
I feel bad for the fighters though. They thought they were going into business with 50 AND Floyd working with them. 50 should already cash out by making Gamboa-Broner.
yeah I had high hopes for them because I thought it'd be a 50/Floyd/Al Haymon type thing. But unfortunately not. I hope SMS still does well though for Gamboa and Dirrell's sake
He should have signed guys like Lamont Peterson, judah Berto, and Kirkland just to get some fighters he better hope Dirrell and Gamboa pans out if he wants to make some real noise
Im pretty sure he probably can still get him considering I dont think Kirkland is coming back he should target the following: Bradley - This Top Rank marriage does not look good and he can pull a Gamboa where 50 buys him out Dawson - For some reason I can see him going to SMS Raushee -Not sure if he is signed but he should jump on that asap then again good luck trying to get him from say Al Haymon He really needs to change the SMS promotions name its horrible
Fighters lose, so what? At least he was willing to fight Gradovich, who probably had a hard time getting good fights.
