Will Mayweather fight the winner of Canelo-Trout in September?

im sorry but no ****ing way. that fight wouldnt get 200,000 buys.


to answer the question though, i dont see Floyd fighting Trout regardless of what the outcome is against Canelo so the answer has to be no.

 

As far as I'm aware, the ONLY reason Canelo has pulled out of the May 4th fight, is because Floyd has gone back on his word, to fight Canelo in September. I read this yesterday.

Canelo doesn't want to appear on Floyd's card, and help make the PPV bigger, if he's not going to get the opportunity to face him in September.

Canelo's manager is saying that they had a verbal agreement with Floyd about the fight in September, but now Floyd has changed his mind, and Canelo is very upset.

It's not a ***** move. Canelo wants the Floyd fight.

 

Floyd never made Canelo a promise of fighting him so you read some BS. Foyd never makes promises on fights

Why would mayweather who has a 250mill contract for 6 fights face a young lion like Canelo or Trout? he would get his ass kicked and he knows it or else he would have signed that contract and accept a fight where could surpass 2M+ Viewers. his fans say it would be an easy fight, but Mayweather doesn't hold that opinion or else he would have took that "easy" money... he knows his fans don't fight his battles.... and he has to step into the Young Lions den and take him out, and that is a big feat on its own for an aging Lion.

He's not going to help May's PPV numbers, if he's not going to get a fight with him afterwards.

What Canelo wants doesn't mean ****. Who has he beat? Nobody.
He should be fighting Trout like a man without demanding another title shot and big payday. If he can win the fight then he's in the driving seat to make demands.
Gurrero could give Mayweather an extremely hard fight and make him question his future.
Both have hard fights ahead and Mayweather was 100% right not to let Canelo strong-arm him.

 

Mayweather was right to not sign ahead to fight Canelo. And Canelo was also right to headline his own card vs Trout.

 

because he wants the fight period. Floyd doesn't do promises you notice nobody is saying this but Canelo's people. If they actually believed they had some sort of agreement CANELO WOULD HAVE NOT WENT THROUGH ALL OF THIS ****.

yeah 2 of his toughest fights and the size of his opponent was the main issue in both fights

 

How do u think Floyd will look vs Guerrero? Spectacular? Mediocre(compared to his usual self)? Or worse?

If he gives Guerrero a one-sided beatdown and doesnt fight the winner, is it because its too risky to fight someone the size of Canelo or Trout?

 

i think after guerrero he takes on the best fighter around and that is devon alexander.

 

I think Floyd will look good, but Guerrero will make it tough for him.

and I'll have to see what happens after the fight and see how those negotiations or lack of negotiations go

If Mayweather cant negotiate a fight with another Golden Boy fighter, who is the biggest money fight for Floyd and is also holding a belt at the same weight then you do realize how bad that would look?
