    i very supprised this thread has lasted this long - and long may this continue, although maybe its beacuse a certain promoters lawyers are busy with other maters

    But TR and GBP have never wound up their companies and moved to a new trading name to get out of paying what a fighter was due.

    Any fighter with half a braincell is going to sign with Matchroom these days.

    Love or hate Fast Eddie, but they've got the deal from Sky and are well known for paying their fighters, whereas other promoters don't fit those criteria.

    You get punched in the face to pay your bills, the least you can expect is to have your wages paid.

    yep, totally agree. I'm not sold yet on Saint Eddie long term but, if you are a boxer, with the Sky deal and the payment controversy he's the best bet at the moment in Britian.

    FNF wasn't set up for these kinds of big shows though Rob. Remember Frank getting some Saturday dates and he put on some decent cards.

    The scene's article about Groves jumping to Matchroom has completely changed :lol:.

    My question was about Friday Fight Nights as Iceberg wouldn't expect that the Froch vs Mack card wouldnt have been considered good a few years ago.
