    van Heerden is folding himself in half and leaning forward into Hatton, trying for slashing combos up and down against Hatton's guard. Hatton is throwing a bit crisper with his left hook and big right hands after leaning back to set up between clinches. Very frequent clinches this round. Horrible to watch. Digs to the body by both while their arms are trapped.

    van Heerden is completely slouched over as Hatton slides back and catches him with lead hooks and straight rights. van Heerden is moving into shots, trying to slip side to side and failing comically. Right hook by van Heerden gets through and the crowd goes wild. Hatton keeps his composure and steps back, slapping in a right hand to the cheek. van Heerden guides Hatton to the ropes, arms folded up to push with. Nice 1-2 by Hatton. Clinch. Lead rights by Hatton as he circles to the right. van Heerden gets in a body shot and rabbit punch while cranking on Hatton's left arm.
