 Admittedly, I've struggled to find the 11th commandment Craney's referencing here: Thou must not troll on forums or ignore photos of cats with hilarious misspellings. And for My sake, use alt-tab to hide the porn.

I like Mick, he clearly cared about Carl. He'd mentored him and guided him all the way from when he turned pro. It's a shame that business and Mick's personal problems (family and with others in the sport) caused such problems. But I agree that Carl didn't help matters. He spent the majority of his pre-WBC career whining about Calzaghe not wanting to fight him, then spent the post-Kessler loss period whining that he really won that fight.

It's hard to like him at times.

He said, speaking down to Rob. The irony.

Bellew/Miranda was not a bad fight at all. It's easy to say that in hindsight, but there was intrigue before the fight because of how limited Bellew's opposition had been. There were plenty of threads on the GF with non-Brits saying that Miranda would win because Bellew was unproven and, to an extent, they were right to come up with that opinion. Bellew's best wins before he'd fought Miranda were McIntosh and McEnzie, both of who are at a much lower level than Miranda. It was a step up in quality for Bellew against a proven veteran and whilst he won easily, these fights don't always go to plan, such as McCloskey against Corley.

That's not a bad fight, I don't think. It turned out to be one sided but it was a good step up for Bellew.

But if thats whats cost him a deal with a TV company it's still a **** up from Hennesey from the POV of Froch.

The verbal agreement stuff was embarrassing and i think that was the final straw for Froch. Abrham was there last fight together.

It was a good step-up, and Tony performed well. But Miranda was two divisions above his best, and many years on from a genuinely good performance. Also, he's never been that good.

Yes, people were picking Miranda at the time, but it doesn't change the fact that Edison is near-shot now.

I dont speak down to anyone. All equal. All level.

But there are some f*cking zombies on here, thats just the truth. That aint speaking down, thats saying it as it is.

If I'm seen as wrong on here for speaking the truth, then so be it.

what is this fast life I have been living?
(will point out that I have spent the day delivering boxing to a foodbank and packing them with food while posting on ESB)

Oh, I agree entirely. But I'd question why broadcasters are allowing personal relationships to get in the way of content that would generate profit for both. And I still think Carl's own personal manner didn't help.

I like Froch, but he's a bad loser (and a bad winner in the case of Dirrell).

The point that was made is that Bellew vs Miranda and Froch vs Mack would have been considered as better than most main events in the FFN days.

Jonsey, why don't you just tell the world how great you are? Tell the world on an internet forum how great you are in life, and why you are so close to Eddie Hearn. Preach it brother!

I didn't say you were wrong. But in judging people as zombies you are looking down on them. That's a simple observation. In telling Rob that he needs to sort his life out (which, by all accounts, sounds pretty good - nice house, good job, a wife he loves), you're suggesting he's getting something wrong.

Many arrogant, deluded people like to believe they're "saying it like it is" when, really, all they're doing is saying it how they think it is.

You, Craney, appear to be one of those people.

I question that to but it's Carl that suffers.

thats where frank & hennesey as managers have let there clients down. they should have recognised that degale and froch back in the day were becoming unpopular and sorted it out. they can control who they fight, when they fight, what tv shows they go on, what gloves they wear, who trains them but can't stop them from calling someone and ugly ginger kid?

Don't worry, we can resume normal service later. For now I agree with you. Certainly in light of what appears to be some serious bull**** from Frank.
