    all fabrications

sorry bro, cant go along with ANY of these false claims, especially the one where Leonard is faster than Norris

never heard no **** about Leonard not preparing right for Norris (false)

never heard nothing where he was weight drained (another fabrication)

In fact, Ray CHALLENGED Terry for Terry's title

got that? It was TERRY'S TITLE

u acting like Terry challenged for Ray's title

these are all fabrications of the highest order

    not enough sparring (another fabrication)

busting his ass to make weight (taken out of the pages of Raging Bull****)

no reflxes by not preparing right (but preparing right for all his other fights)

That last one HAHA what a laugh

    Redrooster's an amusing guy.

Anybody who thinks Norris would beat the early 80's Leonard is on some pretty powerful drugs.

not only do I believe it, but this has been PROVEN in actual combat situation in embarassingly LOPSIDED fashion

check out Sugar's previous comp and compare them with the master

Green, Kalule, Lalonde - all talentless palookas. no waiting in line to get their shot

    Hagler - no speed

Hearns - weak on defense, suspect endurance

Benitez - weak on offense, low on speed, questionable power, not very motivated, & lazy as hell

Duran, good enough to outlast Ray in a tough fight but often in poor shape

now contrast them with Norris and u will find that this young talent had more speed than he knew what to do with along with as complete a defense as u will ever find. hitting Norris was harder to do than striking down a soaring meteor over the skies of Russia

Norris not only had the mobility, not only the speed but also the explosive fists to keep Sugar honest

only weakness: sometimes lacked discipline and fouled out (nearly fouled out against Leonard)

but fortunately fought a near perfect fight otherwise

early 80s Leonard, the one u keep imagining, with wins over Kalule & Bonds?

wins over Nunn, Pryor, & Curry would convince me

As if Norris would have beaten Benitez, Hagler, and Hearns............

    Who's a prime Norris again?

Oh yeeaaa, that's right. Terry's entire rep is based off wins over washed up versions of Leonard, Curry, and Taylor.

 I think rooster is on drugs full stop. I imagine he sees all of us as fabricators involved in a paranoid conspiracy against his hero Terry Norris the man who would have beaten hearns hagler Nunn and leonard in one night

since when was Leonard washed up? unbeaten in 11 yrs, fought the perfect fight in uno mas. My man was just better and u cant admit to it

Same thing with Taylor. only 25 with one loss, which we all know was really a win. when it came to my man tho, Norris ruined him for life (same as he did to Leonard)

Curry gave it his best but couldnt match Terry's machine gun fire and succumbed in the eight. A great performance that ushered young Terry into GR8-ness, so said George Foreman

regarding Marvin Hagler, if you're talking prime Hagler, no

no man has ever beat prime Hagler or close to his prime

Benitez doesnt have the speed to test him, lacks offense and isnt complete enough for guys like Norris, Hamsho, Leonard, Hearns, Moore

Hearns could prove a problem for Norris for a while until Norris brings his left hook into play (ala Sugar Ray Leonard rd 6)

Norris has all the wins, all the defenses, all the glory that people like u hate hearing about

well if u went easy on the fabrication "Norris' handspeed was laughable, far slower than Leonard. Curry had faster hands. my dog had faster hands. on the night ray had no reflexes cuz he didnt prepare for the fight but prepd for all his other fights, and busted his ass to make 154 down from 160, and that somehow I know he didnt get in enough sparring. wow, what an ******* I am"

    amateur

    less sensationalism, more facts

I can't take you seriously. Any rational human being that thinks Leonard was anywhere near his prime in 91 isn't worth debating with.

You live in your fantasy world where Terry Norris is unbeatable. I'll live in the real world where Norris had a **** chin, and feasted on faded fighters.

What's sad is, Norris was an excellent fighter and an excellent talent, but this comparison is just a joke.

The Leonard of 81-82 would have wiped his ass with Norris. As would have Hearns.

Norris doesn't beat a prime Benitez either.

But Terry had plenty of fights prior to that.Where were you when Terry was struggling to cope with the overall blackness of Derrick Kelly?

Besides your terrible grasp of the English language?

problem is u have nothing to work with. no proof of a win the way Norris has

Terry's win was overwhelming while Sugar's loss to Norris was overwhelming

U wish u had a win but u have nothing

    no defenses to speak of

all he has is a win over Kalule and a win over Howard

therefore, I cant take YOU seriously

    "The leonard of 81-82"

what's that, a couple of MONTHS?

but I forgot, you live in the REAL WORLD! where a couple of months of ring action and a win over stiffs like Kalule & Howard, knockdown included, a shaky performance over Geraldo somehow trumps years of title wins of Norris

you only WISH Sugar had as much to brag about as Terry

your boy has next to nothing to brag about except setting records for ducking other fighters

dont listen to him Frank. he's just some stupid trainer pushing 30 that thinks he's been around, a survivor of abortion, amateur psychologist to boot that somehow fostered an inflated ego

llokit this guy. "pushing your body to its limits". nucklehead! I told u already nucklehead, I watched Terry's TV debut in 89 and u come back with your weak mind games. where the hell were YOU in 1989?

The day u can knock a guy like Sugar Ray Leonard to the floor at 3-1 odds, is the day others will take notice of u

    it's about ACCOMPLISHMENTS stupid. capiche?

    ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Clearly a middle-aged geezer that still hasn't recovered from the trauma of seeing his most hated and despised prizefighter upset the odds and dethrone his greatest hero_Once Chuck Hall rendered that decision, it wasn't just Hagler who felt the pain; the legion of followers that he had built up over the years felt it, too.

I just hope LittleRedRooster didn't suffer a mental breakdown, force his family to file a restraining order against him and go into seclusion - that would have been taking his fandom a little too far.
