Notice that Vlad has been fighting all tall fighters lately?

You enjoyed watching a big man going down on an even bigger man?

Only difference is that Joe Louis fought very often and always did fight good fighters mixed in with bums. Wlad fights twice a year or three times a year and fights 3 boring **** fights.

Man no wonder people hold out till they're a mandatory. An immediate rematch with the title holder I can see but why the **** should you have to fight the guys brother next?

Can you imagine Juan Manuel Marquez saying that "pac I'll give you a fifth fight but I take 100% of your next 3 purses and if you beat me you gotta fight rafa next"

    it's like a bad joke.

You Muppet. This is why boxrec warriors should be banned from posting.

Weaver was a titlist. Ocasio had twice beaten jimmy young.

Everyone Louis fought was top ten apart from the exhibition he fought whilst in service (he didn't wanna put the championship on the line, just wanted to provide entertainment). Quoting the year end top ten only gives 1/12th of the picture. Plus the rankings are manually entered so are prone to human error.

I have done the last 3 years plus I did the 91 and 94 rankings. They aren't the be all and end all just the rankings from the month of December.

Easy night for Wlad but what is the man going to do?

Povetkin will not fight him with a sub machine gun,
Haye rematch is out of the question after that cowardly performance
Arreola-Stiverne are fighting each other, probably for the vacant WBC belt.
I THINK Fury and Pulev both turned him down at the moment
Solis, who was talked about, is less deserving than Pianeta at this point.
Price just got his bell rung
Deontay Wilder has not even beated Pianeta level competition
Helenius- testing his arm against Sprott.
Adamek- not really viable after two gift wins.
    Jennings- not ready.

Personally, I want to see Luis Ortiz, who I think has a dynamite package of skills to give Wladdy headaches, but Ortiz has not earned a shot by any stretch of the imagination.

None of this is disrespect to Pianeta. The man is undefeated if unheralded, and he beat cancer which gets my respect. But Wladdy is going put him on the canvas and probably early.

I love Joe Louis but because he could not make money fighting other black heavies, some of the best guys of the era did not get shots.

Wladdy has fought everyone there is to fight.

Nor is the resume all that bad. Haye, Ibragimov, Chagaev, Byrd, Chambers, Peter, Brewster, Thompson...these were all legit guys. You can throw in Rahmen and Mercer for the names.

THIS! People dont know that Pianeta is a good fighter! At least from the fighters who are available!
Pianeta was former World Youth Champion and former European Champion and is a good boxer when he comes motivated in the ring (wich he will against Wladimir).
There are not many boxers who want to fight Wladimir right now as an Voluntary!

Wach and pianeta are shocking fights for the unified heavyweight champion.

There is no way around. Is this how it's gonna be, hope a mandatory is a decent name but otherwise fight guys who aren't proven at a world level?

    Who should he fight?
Pulev not available as Povetkin will fight Wladimir this year.
Fury? Would be very dumb to fight as a Voluntary two fights and he is mandatory! Helenius? He has to look if his arm is working! Price? LOL!
Adamek? Cunningham? Tell me who should he fight?
    Dont tell me Haye!!!!

It's quite amazing how much **** Wladimir gets. It's not like he is getting called out by povetkin, helenius, fury, (price before he got ko'd), Wilder, solis and every other contender.

Seriously ALL the contenders are DEAD silent as soon as Klitschko announces a fight.
