It's not about accepting the judges opinion, it's also the opinion of a large number of experienced observers. See my link on previous page, it's only a minority of the press that had JMM outright winning. Of course JMM winning is a legit outcome, no argument.
It wasn't as wide as some people make it out to be, but JMM definitely deserved the win. I thought all in all, it was an uneventful night for both fighters.
I scored the fight twice. Both times I had Pacquiao winning close. I like both Manny and Juan Manuel, so I had no dog in the fight so to speak. If someone says they had Marquez winning close then I won't argue with that. I would respectfully disagree, but I wouldn't argue. A close win for either guy is fair to me. Now, if you told me that Paul Williams deserved his decision against Lara, we will be arguing then.
this thread is as equally as ******ed as the lame troll op, who always to instigate then hides his ***** ass in the can when **** heats up
That appears to be cherry picked stat. You have anything that's more widespread? Majority of people I've talked to, including many Pac fans felt JMM won. Let's do an official ESB poll or dig up an old thread that's already been done. Anyway, 12% is not a good number for Pac.
Even a 1 point card can be a robbery if the rounds were easy to score, you of all people should know that. And there is no way to even justify a draw for Pac let alone a win. Voted robbery of the year for a reason.
How is it cherrypicked stat? It's on boxrec, I didn't put it together. How many people you think are paid to write about boxing in English, 30,000? There's very few fight press polls as comprehensive as this. I challenge you to find one just 10% bigger.
anything from 8-4 Marquez to 10-2 Marquez is ok 7-5 Marquez is pushing it draw or Pacquiao winning then we know who your favourite boxer is p.s ko 6
