Admittedly, Diaz is my favourite fighter (and person) in combat sports. Realistically I'm not sure Diaz will be able to do anything against someone with the wrestling and all round skills of GSP. However, Diaz seems ridiculously confident about this fight. In all the interviews I've seen it appears Nick thinks he knows exactly how to beat him. It gives me a bit more confidence (like when BHop was clearly very confident against Pascal) that he can win, but I still don't think he will.

As much as I want to see someone else finally head the welterweight division, I'd like to see GSP put a beatdown on Nick just to shut him up.
Months ago I thought this would go the distance, but not anymore. GSP has this covered, and will slow down the pace by mixing up his strikes. As soon as Diaz starts playing the 1-2 game GSP is going to explode with a double leg and begin to throw bombs. Unless Diaz can back him up early on GSP is going to win on a doctor's stoppage in rounds 3 or 4. I see him leaving Diaz a bloody mess. Oh, btw... I'm just as excited for CC v Hendricks. May the best man win.
this right here. Between gsp lack of killer instinct and Diaz's pitter patter punches this fight is gonna be **** main event. Hendricks deserved the shot. GSP should be getting his ass KOed instead of trading jabs with Diaz.
