Well, what if The Rock gets 190 pounds of torque on his punches?

What does this even mean? (or am I missing the sarcasm?)

I don't think he's ever going to be set long enough, often enough before too much damage is coming from the opposite direction. He would be moving in a direction he's unaccustomed to traveling and doing so involuntarily.

Foreman will have to have both arms amputated after 2 rounds with the Marce, I tell ya. The Marce might just amputate them for him with a couple of short hooks.:shock:

Both are stylistic nightmares but I'm going against the grain and saying Rocky against Foreman. The boxing mantra seems to be nobody can outslug Foreman nor can any swarmer beat him, both I think are bull****. Ron Lyle who was never more than a good contender with heart, balls and a punch nearly took Foreman out. Rocky was much more awkward than Frazier, harder to hit clean, a much smaller target and was always leaning back away with his chin tucked in and shoulder and hand up making it a useful style to negate straight punches. It's not impossible that Foreman gasses after swinging like a madman and Rocky takes him out late.

Nice analysis, I agree. Rocky's defensive craft could have given Foreman fits, if the fights goes beyond 7 rounds it is likely that Rocky would swarm him and eventually stop him.

This. Both are highly unlikely though.

I like to hear the romance about the older fighters but if it came down to it would anybody on here realistically put their own money on Marciano beating Foreman?

Both are unlikely ,however i don't see Dempsey finding a prime Ali. Foreman is very hittable and so Marciano could theoretically land one big shot and end it.

If Foreman hits Rocky with the rights and lefts that Walcott nailed him with, they are going to need a coroner. The idea that Foreman can be one-shotted or that Marciano had a long history of one-shotting guys is beyond laughable. And the guy who was almost finished in the 10th by an ancient smallish heavy in Jersey Joe is going withstand Foreman's assault and wait for him to tire? That's some of the funniest **** I've heard in weeks.
