If he doesn't pay up, he'll get suspended in Vegas and won't be able to fight in the US period.

The fine is total bull**** though. It's ridiculous that marijuana is a banned substance.

It´s not a bs fine. It´s a bs law but he should have known better. He could have smoked all he wanted after the fight but why be so reckless and do it before stepping into the ring ?
He deserves what he got for being reckless. The suspension is bs.

  7. This is the kind of case where you push to fight in another state or outside the US. **** if they get hurt about it. SUE THEM FOR ALL THEY GOT JULITO!! Take them down like you took down the Ballerina in that historic 12 ROUND!!

Well, Chavez deserves to be sacked due to illegal substance use, but hey, what's up with the fine?

That's probably his purse for most of his career.

He can fight in California or Texas..

NV takes its drug testing very seriously.

Thats why you get your license chump. Read the NSAC rules..

So wait a minute, Chavez Jr. is a repeated drug cheat (this is his 2nd suspension in NV), does not follow the rules, drinks and drives during training (Rubio fight), and he finally gets a meaningful punishment for it, and he's going to sue??:rofl:rofl:rofl

And people on here are backing him??:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

I love weed as much as the next guy (Im about to smoke up now, lol) but c'mon with this BS.

Jr. is a primadonna and needs a ****ing reality check. :deal

If you get suspended in one state, you can't fight in the rest of the country.

yes, this is true. All the states commissions respect the judgement of the others, and vice versa, otherwise a fighter could fight in California or New York or New Jersey. What would be the big deal if he couldn't fight in Vegas? I kind of agree with it that way. I don't really agree with 900,000 dollar fine. That is outrageous. Almost a million dollars as a penalty? I could see 50 grand or at the most 100 grand.
