WOR was saying that you can buy $5 steaks at a heap of pubs, and that his mate worked there, so he knows it for a fact. The pub in question was a local water hole for a couple posters on here, and called him on the lie.

no idea about NFL clubs, but I doubt any EPL clubs make much money. Man City lost almost 400 million last year, and clubs like Man U, Chelsea etc always lose too. You basically have to be a billionaire to own a big football club these days, as its just too much of a financial burden otherwise.

 

Even as a rich Arab billionaire, a $400,000,000 loss each season isn't really sustainable long term.
