Agreed, mate. I honestly think Burns would fight Vazquez tomorrow and Broner on Wednesday if he had to, so it's a shame that he's the one who takes the brunt of it. People will call him a coward or whatever, but it's a load of bollocks. He's just a nice guy who happens to be lumbered with a failing promoter.

For me, Burns, Nelson and Morrison should not face any criticism at all. It sounds like they've been messed around with as much as anyone.

January 14th - Fight announced at London press conference (not featuring Vazquez or any of his representatives) and tickets go on sale.

February 18th - Journalist Ben Jacobs reveals that Vazquez has told him he will not be travelling for the money on offer.

February 25th - Vazquez has doctor's note signed saying that he is suffering from illness. Not revealed until March 4th.

February 26th - Vazquez's promoter Zanfer Promotions release a list of upcoming fights with Miguel Vazquez due to fight an unnamed opponent on June 1st.

March 1st - Eddie Hearn says that Matchroom will be announcing a big signing on March 4th. Later revealed as George Groves who was due to fight on the undercard.

Were you able to get any kind of refund on anything? Frank should at least offer the fans some kind of discount, not just because many will be paying extra for new flights/hotels, but also because of the inconvenience of it all. I hope he does the right thing for those like you. This really must be a **** experience.

 

They'll just fob the fans off and say "injuries and illness can't be stopped, lets look forward to April". They won't give the fans an honest answer.

You have no reason to apologise, most on here like you coming on and fair play for you coming on today and apologising, you NEED to move promoter to find out how good Ricky is, you want them fights and so does he and Alex Morrison seems to have had enough to.

 

He mentioned it on his podcast, he just spoke about the illness and groves. He kind of brushed over it. However, wazza is on his show tonight talking about it.
